irritated with the vpn
it's been almost a month since i last used my lappy. and today, i know why i abandoned it for the home computers in the first place. the bloody vpn won't let me off! it kept on connecting, disallowing me to connect to msn and view the explorer. it was so freaking frustrating! and now i'm thinking that the vpn has screwed up some java script on the site. yes, i'm blaming it all on the damn vpn.
anyways, back to the real reason why i decided to take out my lappy to use instead of the home computers.
reason number 1: i want to post the pictures that we have taken over the chalet, which i have yet upload cos i was so irritated by the above mentioned.
reason number 2: i want to announce that the ROM date has been set! 29th October 2005, Saturday. it'll be held at Chinese Swimming Club, at which part, i don't know. haha. Just the signing and all with lunch or some makan bits. haha. it should be between 2pm - 5pm. cos the signing is at 3pm. haha. more info later!
reason number 3: visited the HDB Hub yesterday and will be getting our house latest on November 15th! but the house warming would still be somewhere in december cos we're going to paint the house and everything. besides, our bed is only coming in january, cos we thought we'll only get the keys in december. haha. maybe we'll push forward the delivery...
reason number 4: we got our rings! yay! nothing fanciful. just a plain ring with a diamond, cos sean doesn't like anything fanciful and both our hands are small so we can't get thick rings or else it'll be dissolving my hands. haha. i liked the one in my picture though! but we can't find it anymore! :( we did try to find a similar one.. ok, not that similar given that the matt part is all gone.. boo hoo! maybe next time when i see a really similar pair, i'll ask sean to buy. muahaha!!
reason number 5: sean messaged me in the morning telling me that his school's english hod still wants the course to be on, since my documents are all in the lappy, i have no choice but to use my lappy, right?
reason number 6: i'm deciding whether or not i should make a set of namecards for myself, then at the same time, the invitation cards. wahaha! ok. i'm daydreaming. haha.
reason number 7: no reason la. haha. i think i'll post the pictures up later under edit. haha.

the ultimate randomness
leaving for work in another hours time. stayed over at his place last night after coming back to play santa claus to my sisters and brother. got them gifts from the place i was working at. now it's just left with my parents.. they didn't want the fountain.. so i guess i'll have to re-think or buy at the end of the year as requested.. of course i got something for myself and sean too! some beautiful candle lightings/holders for the dining table and somewhere else. haha.
my mum said they were going to renovate the house at the end of the year. got a feeling that it's planned that way so that when sean and i got our house, they would be able to move in with us while the house was being renovated. omg! i can't believe it. everyone has plans of how to use our house except us!! the only thing we know we're going to do there, besides spending tons of time together! with no parents! (the perks!), is to sleep. haha. whilst everyone else.. well, some want many parties, some want it as a place to gather and drink, some want it as a place of entertainment. haha. whatever it is, as long as both of us are at home and you have inform us wayyy beforehand, then i guess it should be okay. and oh yah, sean's rule, NO STAYING OVER. haha. unless of course there's a special reason. like my brother who wants to play games through the night kind. haha.

the aftermath of seafood madness at JB! haha. there were crabs, crayfish, stingrays, sotong, pork ribs, garupa (some fish, however you spell it) all finished by 4 of us! wahaha! fyi, the 4 includes sean, me, yanting and daniel (uncle yong! or dua kong!) steven (uncle su! or su kong!) was also suppose to come but he injured his shine, so he had to avoid seafood for a while..

paragon, astoria
have been working since tuesday.
it's some kind of roadshow/promotion that's taken out of the stall and placed in the middle of the food haven in paragon, basement one. haha.
andy's working with me (yay!) along with this other guy from temesek poly. his name is elvin (design student). i'd say all 3 of us can get along well. haha. oh! and he's same age as andy, and also in poly first year. haha. andy was very happy when he heard that. haha.
so anyways, haven't been spending much time with sean cos of work. but i know he likes the idea of it so that he can work on his car. polishing and waxing it. somehow, after the last accident (and final one) he seems to begin to be obsessed with his car again! which is good!! cos i've always been telling him that he should spend some time cleaning his car, showing his car that he treasures it. and now that he has started on it, his car is also treating him well. haha. yes, you can don't believe this but somehow, cars have feelings too. fyi, many people have tried to open the door of his car using the remote thing. and many have failed, and i saw one of them trying, but to no avail. haha. and yes! i can open the door k! haha. ok. nevermind.
i should leave for work now. today's full shift. bahh.
come visit me k! and when you do, buy a small bottle of sprite for me! =P
