that's why i'll be driving in during my driving lessons. wahaha!

first lesson yesterday was fun. AND YES! I DROVE! wahaha! i made U-turns, right turns, left turns. i did the start-up biting point, and mind you i didn't stall the car. my releasing of clutch was just nice, that's what my instructor said. many people have stalled their car during biting point. wahaha. but i did stall the car ONCE. it was when this big truck just turned out of the lot, without me noticing it and i slam the brakes. bad idea man. haha. but my instructor said it was ok, and to remember to clutch in first before breaking, and then coming to a complete stop. other than that, he said i should be able to clear my practical test in 10 lessons. but excuse me! i haven't even taken my advance theory!!

so anywhos, we drove, or rather I (proudly) drove around this industrial car park near tampines, where all these big trucks keep coming in and out. my god. imagine that on the first lesson!! but it was fun.

3/ biting point for gear 1 (to start up) and reverse gear

wooooooooot! next lesson is next tuesday. i think during the holidays i'll go driving twice a week. wahaha!

excitedly awaiting

ooooh!! i called Mr. Teo in the evening, to confirm him as my shifu in driving!! hehe. so cool! he's very nice cos he's one of the very few instructors who will come and pick you up to bring you around to train. hehe. so cool!

so yes, i'm started my practical driving lessons next tuesday! only thing i'm scared of is that if he's a pervert! lol. but sean say he doubt Mr Teo is this type of person. oh wells, if he is, then i'll just find another instructor. hehe!

but still! AM SO EXCITED!!

i passed my basic driving theory test! wooooot!!

just obtained my PDL, am so going to start learning how to drive now.

final driving theory test is in exactly one month's time.

photoshoot during cultural

last thursday, we went out on a cultural module assignment. it had us running to a newly built HDB flats just next to queenstown mrt station. here's how my team and i spent that superb day! (even though i started out cranky. all thanks to sean and haz, i was able to get through that fun with tons of fun and photos!)

1/ is the earth round or flat?

i believe that the earth is ROUND, not flat. i had a massive argument with my facilitator over it. haha! i was telling him about stuff with regards to geography, but he kept insisting i'm wrong and that i shouldn't use prior knowledge. also, i remember clearly that his SUN is smaller that EARTH. OMG. imagine that. SUN is SMALLER than EARTH. tsk tsk.

as for the microwave ovened food, i believe it's true. if not, how come SO many people has cancer? note: practically every household OWNS a microwave oven, and there are SO many microwavable food available.

SO PEOPLE!! FOR MY HOUSE-WARMING, DON'T BUY MICROWAVE OVEN FOR ME. thanks =)

light it up, light them all up

yesterday, after school, mike, haz, weizhi and andy spent nearly half an hour to get hui lian and connie to go out with us. in the end, only connie came. YAY! =)

we left the campus and took 132 to lido. from there, we were discussing where to eat (we couldn't go anywhere that's non-halal cos haz is around) so we settled on fish&co.!

went there and we were discussing about all the other restaurants we should all go on to try.. kenny rodgers, tony roma's, jack's place etc. yummy!

so anyways, we placed our orders and chit-chatted while waiting and eating. damn fun! haven't had so much fun in such a long time! hehe.

after we finished our meals, and my delicious dessert - hot fudge chocolate cake! with ice cream!, we started taking photos. it was hilarious and embarassing. but who cares?! it was so much fun! hehe. (will upload the photos when i'm free.. soon!)

after all that madness, we paid and left, since most of us wanted to head home already. but on our way out, we were thinking of sticking around to see orchard road light up in the christmas decorations. we were all tempted! so we stood around for about 20minutes before we all started talking loudly and laughing and going "wow!" at all the lightings. haha. we're not goons. we're just excited. christmas is coming! =D

so after all the 'wow's and 'haha's we all went back. andy and i took the same train and we talked a lot about work on our way back. putting our hopes high that we'll have another promo job to be done in december so that we'll have $$$. haha! but also the thought bores us cos we want to celebrate christmas! (we're afraid that if we're hired, the promo might overrun into the festival) so yah.

sean picked me up from the mrt station and we head towards my parents' place where he had dinner while i watched tv, and then we played games and all that.

and yes! i came up with this idea which i think you people might like! (people meaning people of pd 01-08) we'll pig out at a chosen fancy restaurant, one day in every month! how's that? let me know!!

a new thing

yes, i've decided to mess around with more difficult templates.

i know others have had this before. but i wanted to make sure i was ready to test it out before i actually spend time on it. haha! also, i've always liked having everything in one one page, with no need to scroll up and down. haha. i'm that neat with my blogs. lol! but i've decided to mess around with links within the blog. hehe. it seems rather neat, if i do it right. and i hope i did..

i managed to make 2 types. one with words as link (my new blog!) and another with pictures (this blog!) wahaha! call me slow or anything, but i love my latest 2 new designs. everything (cept the skeleton html) done from scratch!

a plan to make plans

hmm, my sister came to wake us up this morning. telling us that the contractor is here and wants to look at the room. the room is going to be renovated for my brother. haha. yes, he's having his own room. NOT FAIR!!!

so anyways, mum said most likely they'll have to move in with us for a while when the renovation is going on in the house. sean and i are more than welcome to have them over, temporary. besides, we're going to be painting our flat, i won't mind having extra helpers around. WAHAHA!!

ooh. mum's giving us the display case!! YAY!! we can like display our pokemon collection the minute we move in! of cos it's just temporary la. we're not going to do much renovation since it's just the 2 of us. so whatever we need and can take from my parents and his, we'll take. haha! of cos they'll have to match first lah!! his parents are giving us this HUGE rabbit cage they have so that we can put both dusty and honey in it. if we don't like it, or it doesn't quite fit, we'll buy the $288 one we saw at Pet Safari this afternoon! wahaha!

ok. mum also said that if we're ok with the price the carpenter quote, we can get him to do our furniture and all. sean and i both thought that the master room's wardrobe's takes up to much space, so we're thinking that we might want to have it change.. so we're still thinking.................. we've got to have a look at the house again... before any final decision... haha.
