yes, first day again
it is the ever so NOT god forsaken first day of school yesterday.
and i must say, it's kind shit and the whole day was just pure irritation to me. haha. and no, it's not because of the people in my class, nor is it cos of people who are not in my class.
i guess knowing that i'll be all alone at home last night sort of already made things bad enough for me cos sean had NCC camp, i think somewhere in ang mo kio (cos he told me he went to a coffee shop somewhere in ang mo kio with some other officers and commented that the food was not bad, haha)
others that played a part was the constantly over-crowded canteen, the everywhere-is-fully-airconditioned-at19ºC AND the last straw came from the RAIN after school!
but today was rather okay. i woke up to the alarm, lazily stayed in bed for another 20minutes (thank god i set my alarm earlier) then went straight to the showers, it was really warm and relaxing, so much so that i stayed in there for like 30minutes. haha!
after my nice long shower, i blow dry my hair (as always) and got ready for school. left the house at around 6.15am and walked to the bus stop (since sean isn't around to drive me out!) reached at around 6.27am (yes, i enjoy checking the time) waited until about 6.36am (and again) and i was on the bus! haha. reached woodlands at around 7.20am (yet again) and went to McDonald's at Causeway Point for breakfast :)
after a slow breakfast, i walked to school, enjoying the music on my ipod. reached class at 8.20am :) i can get used to this every morning. haha. not only will i feel good and actually eat before school starts but i'll also get to exercise! (yes, that little 10-15minutes walk to school)
so yay! although first day sucked the life force out of me (doesn't it always does?) but second day seem to be so far so good, until now.. i just realised that for this module, we're to stick with the same people for like 16 weeks! omg. but at least we'll get to choose the people, but.. how am i to know i won't get irritated with them half-way, like i always do!? omg...

Entertainment Competition
Campus Superstar sort of got me thinking about the past competition.
Is it true that if you're female, you'll never win?
Is it also true that if you're not from Singapore, you'll never win?
Take a look at Project Superstar, Star Idol and now, Campus Superstar (forget Singapore Idol, where are those people now anyway?)
Aren't all the winners males?

DIY earrings
today, while i was waiting for sean to be done using the gents at katong, i wondered around and found this shop selling bits and stuff. so i went in and took a look.
he came out of the gents and asked me if i wanted to try making my own earrings, i hesitated a while and then checked out everything carefully and decided to have a go. i mean, why not? haha.
so i bought a enough beads to make 2 pairs of earrings, just for starters.when i got home, i tried to copy this pair of earrings i saw on display in there, but I FAILED. haha. the beads i bought were a bit too much of the same size, so i'm going to take out everything and start all over again.
BUT! i did succeed in making one pretty pretty pair, out of beads that i just picked and choose cos i like them. and who says all the best things can't be put together!? haha! and i've christianed it Scarlet Tear haha!
