my direction
after today's class, i think i sort of know where i should be heading after i graduate.
i will try my best to get into the top percentile in rp, in order to enter a university. i will enroll myself into the degree field that offers writing.
i'm not cut out for making films, tv shows or advertisement (maybe except print adverts) i find that i enjoy and prefer very much to write instead.
i must say, although i don't really like the facilitator for my story writing module, it has to be the one module that i truly truly enjoy cos it's story writing!
oh yes, i can't drive to school for the next 2 weeks! :( sean has decided to send the car for new spray paint and necessary repairs. damn! i should be happy, but right........ hai yah.

make a story with these
1. Box
2. Drawing
3. Asteroid
4. Elephant
5. Boa
6. Sheep
7. 8-612
8. Hat
9. Desert
10. Airplane
this was what i came up withJoe was assigned for a highly secretive delivery of an
asteroid that fell from the sky a few weeks ago to a hideaway laboratory for examinations and experiments. The asteroid is now placed in a
box labeled Specimen
B-612 and resting safe and locked away at the back cabin of the
airplane.
Earlier, he was given a
drawing of the route to the destination - a research and development centre in the
desert - by one of the officers who had helped in removing the asteroid. Putting on his captain's
hat, Joe signaled that he was ready to the officers, and took off.
Now, a few thousand feet above land and away from all possible human contact, Joe began hearing sounds that were similar to those made by an
elephant calling. With the controls placed on auto-pilot, he picked up the only weapon he could find, a spanner, and walked cautiously towards the back to investigate.
He found on the passageway a trial of what appears to be a
boa's shed skin. He followed the trial all the way to the back, where the asteroid was placed. Calling out loud to see if anyone's there, nobody responded. He then moved in closer, but saw nothing but a bag of
sheep's wool behind the asteroid's box.
this was what my team decided on"Win yourself a lifetime supply
box filled with
B-612 Asteroids! There's no other easier way to build muscles like Captain Inferno than with B-612 Asteroids! Just come down with your team of 3 to the centre groove and let's get it on!"
Elephant was at the most critical stage of his mid-life crisis; he had to win those asteroids in order to restore his youth and might, but how? He thought.
Pacing up and down impatiently, he heard a knock on his door. He was surprised to see his neighbors,
Sheep and
Boa, at his door.
"Will you cut it out? Your walking about is sending crazy vibrations to the entire forest!" Sheep said annoyingly, adjusting her crooked
hat.
"What"s up, phant!" yelled the ever so chirpy and ignorant Boa.
Elephant contemplated before deciding to ask them for their help and the next thing they knew, they were holding a
drawing of a map with a huge X that marked the spot.
Boarding the
airplane bound to the site of the treasure hunt - the treacherous
desert - they leave their home with hopes of finding the treasure, Elephant is very determined to get his hands on the prize, this would secure his lifetime dream of becoming strong and mighty again.

a little wish and hope
i
wish that my mother won't get overly worked up whenever i'm trying to have a casual yet much-needed affirmation talk with her. i
wish that she would just listen to what i have to say and then respond to me accordingly. i do know life is hard, especially with 4 children, but all i had wanted were some much needed opinions and advice - not a sudden outburst. oh well.
andi
hope that i will be able to save and earn enough money to buy myself a car for my 21st birthday. don't tell me it's impossible, cos i am determined to make this happen.

shame on yourself
how can one bring up a well-mannered child when you think it's okay to let your child pick on other people's food, before the person actually opened or saw the packet, without asking for permission?
and i think that is one of the most basic to be taught.
it's just so sick to know that my food has been picked on and digged through, and it doesn't matter if it's my own sister who's doing it. if i bother to ask nicely whenever i take something, i think i deserve the same respect too. sneaky sneaky shit is just fucking rude and disgusting!
it's just sick. simply sick.
argh.

books, authors and i
i know this might not sit well with some of you, but when sean and i were walking around in kinokuniya (bugis) last night (after buying simply divine notebook!), i actually told him that for the rest of all the presents and gifts that he's going to buy for me in future, like birthday, christmas, anniversary etc. he should buy me a
BOOK! but not any book on the shelf!
i told him to buy ONLY from the authors i like and that is my now favourite
ADELE PARKS! along with Cecilia Ahern and Robyn Sisman. and he's NOT allowed to buy repeats. haha. i told him to check my drawer of novels (yes, dedicated one drawer in my wardrobe to them) to see which are the titles i already have. haha!
can you imagine that came out of my mouth?? i'm actually giving up tons of expensive gifts for ONE book!
even before we were together, he was already buying me gifts in the digits region that nobody i knew ever explored when getting a gift for me!
and i know some of you don't know me as the person who enjoys reading, but i think it comes with age. suddenly i want to buy almost every single book i've ever layed my eyes on and i'm just dying to read them all! and it's not even because i'm forced to! i just simply enjoy reading!
yesterday, i also went to buy the darling book that started my novel collection journey. it got lost when we were moving into the new home and i never found it! (not even in bookstores) until yesterday, that is! haha. oh oh, and i'm definitely going to let you all know the title of the book!
it's HUSBANDS by ADELE PARKS.

unaware and subconsciously
i was blog hopping when i started to curse all the blogs that i went to for not updating because i am BORED and there's nothing to read or do. so i went to my blog, proudly thinking there's going to be a new entry for me to read, but NO. my blog is just about the same as any other blogs that i have gone to.. dead.
ha ha.
i sold my laptop a few days ago for $500. haha. i miss my laptop loads now, it has all the pictures and whatnots and everything basically that accumulated over a year and half, possibly more. it had EVERYTHING. haha. you might be thinking now that i'm stupid to not copy everything out. but i did. and i still miss my freakin' laptop. bahh.
i was moody after selling my laptop, actually in a really foul mood, cos whatever that happened after was just miserable, irritating and boring. i feel like i haven't been a good owner to my laptop and sold it away before it can prove to me its worth and value. oh heck! it's gone already.
sean tried to cheer me up that night by telling me that i'm going to get a new laptop of my choice, but things got a tad ugly when i said i wanted to get the Sony VAIO FJ78GP in Raspberry Red. many people told me that it's NOT WORTH to buy a VAIO laptop because it's just branding and everything else inside it is shit. but just look at this darling!

it's fucking stylish and chic-a-licious! every bit of it screams that! now why can't men understand that women sometimes don't go for the inside but the outside, when it comes to gadgets and the likes.
but in any case, i'm trying to compromise by getting a better and rather 'styled' + much smaller and lighter laptop (it's 12.1" inch and weighs 1.8kg with battery). sean has even offered to have it gmasked so that i can enhance it's chic-ness and one-of-a-kindness. but i think the only thing cool and brilliant about this new laptop, which is ASUS W5F by the way, would be that it would match my iPod and my mouse. they will all be in WHITE. haha.
here's a visual aid, plus link to site, as to how ASUS W5F looks like.

now the only thing i'm waiting for is have the
ka-ching ka-ching loaded into my bank account and then i'll happily have sean accompany me down to buy my new laptop.
through this whole laptop thing, i have learnt how to tell a good laptop from a bad laptop. haha, thanks to sean who taught me about all the knows when it comes to looking at specs
(he compared the laptops now with then and commented these are now super computers. hehe!) and that if ASUS wants to hire a designer for their laptops, they should come and find me.
p.s. i also learnt that a thing like a laptop can make a girl talk loads. haha!
